Known as the "Old Dominion", Virginia is geographically shaped by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. The capital city is Richmond, though Virginia Beach is the most populated. The state has an overall population of approximately 7,000,000.

In addition to having over fifteen Fortune 500 companies, Virginia has the highest concentration of technology workers of any state. It's no wonder that in 2006, Forbes magazine ranked Virginia the best state in the nation for business.
